12/12/03 On Tap is located in the UTC shopping plaza. It was recently either closed for renovation or it changed hands or something -- anyways, it's open now. The phone number didn't work when I tried it. It's HopManiac IPA won 3rd at GABF, so someone there must care about brewing beer, eh?
We visited on Friday night at 7pm. The place was pretty full, though it emptied by 8:30pm. No wait for a table.
Friendly wait staff. Seem to be alot of short blond girls. Ran out of 22oz glasses so they served my friend a 14oz pilsener glass plus a half full pint glass (lame).
There's a small bar with lots of wine bottles to one side. TV. Small sign listing the beers. Then there's this random sushi bar with a couple of stools. Um, not to be rascist, but I didn't see Japanese ppl in front of or behind the counter. The rest of the restaurant is all tables, very clean place, not especially old or modern.
They have a decent beer menu which lists their beers and describes them. Sampler for $8, you get their blond ale (a Kolsch), amber ale (Dusseldorf-style), Pale Ale, Wheat, Dark lager, and one more (can't remember). They also have a Raspberry ale, a Double amber ale, and their HopManiac IPA.
That's a pretty good selection, IMHO.
We tried the On-Tap burger and the Fish and Chips. The burger was huge, and pretty satisfying. The fish had too much batter. They have All-You-can-eat Ribs for 15.99 on Tuesdays and All-You-can-eat Prime Rib for even less on Thursdays. Sadly, they ran out of the Prime Rib that night by the time we got there.
Summary: their HopManiac IPA is great, and I'm definitely going back on a Tuesday or Thursday for the All-You-Can-Eat specials.

No Tuesday food specials. Happy hour is 50cents off
