It had a light, medium-tan head upon arrival, but with low retention. The nose was lightly malty. The color was a medium-red with NE-quality clarity. The mouthfeel was thin with lots of malty sweetness up front. The finish was smooth with a strong malt presence. It was not really my bag, but it was still pretty well done.

On tap at Smoke on the Water in Greenville.
Pored a dark amber, with no head and no lace. The color was great though for a brown ale, so at least it had that going for it.
Smell was really non existent. Nothing, bread and caramel, maybe, or it could have been the food, really could smell nothing in this.
The taste was really not impressive either. Some nuttiness mixed with a caramel and an earthy touch, but really not impressed, too light no real character to it.
The only redeming quality was it was smooth and nicely carbonated making it at least feel nice if nothing else.
Overall its an Ehh, you really don't need to try it. If it was up against a macro, I would take it hands down, but it needs more character, more flavor, more of alot of things.
