Copenhagen 11/5 2019. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Borups Allé , Frb. F. Red label with a lot of small symbols related to beer brewing, transport and what looks like a hat with chop sticks for legs.
Pours slightly unclear amber with medium-sized white head. Thin almost transparent layer of foam just covering the surface of the beer. Substantial lacing.
Aroma has a solid malty sweetness with lighter citric notes. Caramel, bread and toffee. Light odor of citrus, pine and Grape fruit.
Light carbonation. Slightly thick, oily, slightly tingly texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a medium strong bitterness. Aftertaste is bitter with fairly strong sweet undercurrent. Lingers for a bit.
Not very many West Coast IPA vibes - but a nice enough beer.

355 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 6.5%. Slightly hazy deep golden to amber colour, moderate white head. Aroma of fruity and piney hops, also some floral notes. Citric flavour with some malty and caramel sweetness, fairly bitter and resinous hops in the finish. Good beer.

Veiled amber, decent foam.
At the smell the first impression is apricot jam.
In the taste again, apricot, melon, caramel. And the hop?
It is supposed to be a West Coast IPA. Meh.
In the aftertaste, after all, a bit of hop is present, citrussy. But too light.
Unbalanced.

Pours a light/medium amber coloration with a medium, fizzy head. Smells of caramel, biscuity malt, with a certain floral note and a hint of grapefruit. Taste follows the nose, with a mixture of caramel. biscuity malt and floral, citrus and slightly herbal hops. Notes of grapefruit and tangerine with just the faintest hint of pine. Finishes with a light/medium bitterness. Smooth mouthfeel with a medium body and carbonation.
According to the label, this is a "west coast IPA with a German twist" and a rather odd hop bill (HBC 431, Taurus, Mosaic). This results in an IPA that really is more "German twist" than "west coast". It's not terrible, but doesn't fit the style well and just doesn't come into its own that well. The herbal, floral notes seem misplaced for an IPA marketed as being "west coast" and there isn't enough resinous, bitter chracater to this to make up for it.
