Copenhagen 31/5 2019. 33 cl bottle from Meny, Borups Allé, Frb. F. Black and white drawing of rows of corn on the label. They present the beer as a Weizen India Pale Ale.
Pours unclear amber with a big off-white head. Settles as thin almost transparent layer of foam struggling to cover the surface of the beer. Clinging to the sides of the glass. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is fruity sweet with sharp sour notes. Caramel, lemonade sweetness. A little sugary. Sharp citric tart notes lurking in the background.
Light carbonation. Soft, slightly thick, creamy texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed my a slightly stronger sour bitterness. A little rough. Aftertaste is bitter-sour with a lighter sweetness just beneath. Lingers for a bit.
More Weizen than India Pale Ale. But nice one at that with a pleasant bitter bite.

June 2014. Shared 330 ml bottle at local tasting, from CITTI-Markt Flensburg. ABV is 6.8%. BB date 31.01.2014. Slightly hazy orange colour, moderate off-white head. Pleasant aroma of hops (Magnum and Cascade) and toffee, some caramel. Nice hoppy balance in the flavour, but will re-rate if get a fresher bottle, as I expect it could be even better.

Actually, it's rather close to hopped weissbier, pleasant hybrid.

Bottle pour at the 2014 Firestone Walker Invitational Beer Fest held at the Paso Robles Event Center in Paso Robles, CA.
Pours a murky orange with a foamy bone head that settles to a film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace form around the glass on the drink down. Smell is of malt, citrus zest, and yeast aromas. Taste is much the same with citrus zest, herbal hop, and yeast flavors on the finish. There is a mild amount of hop bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp and medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer that is tasty but quite yeast forward compared to the hops.
