Big pile of white foam on the hazy pale yellow brew in the tall Pilsner glass Smell is acidic, faintly fruity, a little buttery. Very tart taste. Brewer describes it as "spontaneously fermented ale aged on white and yellow nectarines." Sounds delicious but it's just sour.
This is the absolute classic flavor profile of so many of these wild brews. Very lactobacillic, no sugar at all, and a ghost of fruit flavor. Sets your teeth on edge and is all sharp into the aftertaste. But these Draper sours are a bargain, But it's at least a good as the Cascade fruit sours, if you like that sort of thing.f. This one is one of the more expensive ones at $10, from their tasting room in Roseburg.
