Small taproom in the very touristy Marathon Motor works. 4 house beers on tap at the time of our visit with one guest and one cider, a lot of empty taps though so maybe they normally have more? The beer itself was decent, the IPA was mediocre but the malty ones were pretty solid. Service was ok. Worth popping in if you are already in the building, but otherwise you can do a whole lot better in Nashville.

My wife wanted to visit the Nashville Picker's store (which was pretty much a waste) and Corsair was right next door so we stopped in for a beer. We each got a sampler so that we could try everything. The cost was a little bit high, but they had some pretty good beers so I didn't mind. We didn't take the tour but talked with several people who had over the period of time we were there and they all suggested that it was worth it. As a brewer myself I'm not sure how interesting I would have found it, but we did decide that we'd stop back and do it (that never happened as we got side-tracked). If you've got the time I'd suggest it as something to do, but I certainly wouldn't put it at the top of my list.

Quick review:
The taproom is in an old building that used to house Yazoo brewing. The beer selection was great with about 12-15 taps - mostly local. The taproom is pretty small.

Don't pass up the opportunity to tour the micro-distillery. The tour is quick and to the point, but the tasting that follows will make you appreciate locally made spirits, especially since the distillery is adventurous with what they create.

Stopped in hear after checking out the new american pickers store. Its in the same building. Well, a app on my phone said that this place was Yazoo brewing company. When I asked I was shot down immediately like I asked a dumb question. Server wasnt to friendly. They had a few beers on tap. Nothing special, mostly local stuff. This place is more of a yuppie down town Nashville hang out. Don't bring your kids if you go! The only thing this place has going for it is the cool building that it is located in.

This is a taproom in the historic Marathon Motor Works building. This was previously the home of the Yazoo Brewery before they moved to a new building. Now a distillery named Corsair is in this location. They make spirits such as gin, alcohol and rum, but decided to keep the old Yazoo taproom open for serving craft beer.

This old building from the early 1900s is really cool. Large spaces, old wooden floors, brick walls inside and out all contribute to the great character. I'd never visited when Yazoo was here and was very impressed with the vintage look and feel. The taproom itself is very small. There was a crowd maybe 25 when I went and that packed the room pretty tight. They have a patio with extra seating that I'm sure would be great in warmer weather, but it is too cold now in January.

They had 15 craft beers on tap. About 6 of these were local Yazoo beers, the rest were a mix of different styles from various brewers such as Abita, Highland, Terrapin and Sierra Nevada. They did a good job of having a mix of styles to include just about any basic beer you wanted to try. Also includes a cider on tap. Growler fills are available, and they have a beer flight you can get with 5 beer samples.

I had a Dos Perros from Yazoo followed by a Coney Island Lager from Schmaltz. Both were served in shaker pints and filled to the rim. Service was good, although we pretty much just ordered our beers and sat down. Due to the crowd and the noise of conversation I can't see being able to talk to the staff easily about the selections if you wanted to.

We didn't get anything to eat, but the menu items all sounded pretty tasty.

Overall a really cool place to go get a pint after work - looking forward to going back soon.
