Bottle 0.33L.
Dark brown body with an average, frothy, tan head, mostly diminishing with fair lacing.
Moderate-to-heavy malty (toasted) aroma with heavy notes of coffee and some dark chocolate; hints of dark fruits (plum).
Moderate bitter flavour with moderate sweet notes; long-lasting finish with chocolate and coffee notes.
Medium-to-full body with oily texture; soft carbonation.

So happy that this special ed of this imperial porter fell into my arms. Its like meeting an old friend cause of that time being lagered: its the 2015/aug/24 filling....and i have it here on apr/2016!this one been in the cellar for some months! Poured in...nice dark brown colour, almost black, no carbonation.looks very oily.unfiltered. not that much foam, but super smell of cocoa, roasted malts...rum. very easy drinking.good additional aromas of sherry or afer eight because of the cellaring.tastes like choclate pudding.Good beer!

On draft at Quartiere in Fermento Italian Craft Beer Festival, Dublin

Jet with steady tan collar. 4
Vanilla, roasty smoke, and brown sugar. 4
Demerara, licorice, vanilla pod, a roasty bite, slight cherry stone, and shavings of baker’s chocolate. 4.25
Chocolate brownie end and dry linger.
Round, smooth, creamy, medium to full. 4.25

with cocoa nibs and vanilla

Cocoa is lost, vanilla is kicking. Enough brown malt that the toast makes this very easy for 7.5%. Otherwise, not sure how or why this is a porter - there is just enough roast to cut the sweetness. Complex enough, and solid. 4
