250ml bottle poured in a pint glass.

A: Pours a standard pale yellow color. A bit hazy, nevertheless. Forms a small bubbled white head with low retention and only few spotty lacings left in the glass

S: Very grainy in the nose. Strong notes of flowery hops. A bit spicy with notes of coriander. Bready and a bit metallic

T: Very grainy in the mouth too. Noble pale malts upfront. Quite bready. Great notes of noble flowery hops. Considerable notes of coriander. Balanced bitterness. Quite smooth. Good quality water was used

M: Light to medium body. Good carbonation. Smooth texture. Good quality water. Malty, grassy and bit metallic aftertaste

O: Good drinkability. Good quality Pilsener. My new favorite Swiss brewery

Recently stumbled across my notes from The Festival 2012. Lets do this!

A - Poured a cloudy golden straw hue with a one finger white head that faded very, very quickly.

S - Aromas start out pretty solid, noble hops, bready malts, nice floral notes..then this weird metallic aroma starts to waft in...

T - Taste is even worse. So, there is the sweet malts and the nice earthy/grassy hops..then things get very boozy tasting with metallic twinges. Just..too bad.

M - Mouthfeel is solid though with very nice carbonation.

O - Overall, the metallic twinges here really hurt this for me. Just too bad.

(Served in a tulip glass)
A- This beer pours a deep yellow pour with a porous white head that last a good bit.

S- The fresh pils malt has some nice raw grain and dry white grape aromas to the finish while still having a nice clean lagered quality.

T- The full pils malt taste has a soft sweet sulfur green Noble hop finish. There is a soft white grape aftertaste with just a touch of sweetness to it.

M- The medium-light mouthfeel has a tight fizz in the finish that boost the mouthfeel a bit and no real alcohol heat noticed.

O- The nice fresh flavor with citrus and spice hop notes make a great white grape quality to the hops. Well balanced and very easy to drink. Just enough sweetness to add interest but not too much.

330 mL organic "Pilsener Wine" whatever the fuck that is.

hazy golden straw pour with a very pretty cascading head that fades way to quickly into a thick ring and had almost no residual carbonation, but good lacing. At least it looks slightly unfiltered.

Reeks of pils yeast, musty barn yard and hay. Odd but pleasant, and very strong. Very close to being off putting.

yeasty from the get go with a zesty and savory dull orange peel, coriander. Leafy herbal hop notes on top of a gentile crusty grain maltiness. Lacks depth and malt orientated balance of a double or an imperial where they haven't just added distilled alcohol. mildly boozy.

Bright and well carbonated on the palate with champagne fine bubbles, crisp and exact on the finish with a juicy smooth finish that makes you want more.

good enough, it IS greater than its components and has a uniqueness to it that is beneficial. Its still not great, and by the end of it I was a little overwhelmed by its underwhelmingness, and the booze.

330ml bottle

A- Dark golden colour, cloudy, huge fluffy white head with nice retention and lacing. Nice but not exactly a typical pilsner by the look

S- Lively and fresh. A grainy/bready base, with a touch of spicy, phenolic/alcohol feel on top. Freshly herbaceuos and floral notes as well, as to be expected per style

T- A bit downhill by comparison with the aroma. Grainy base, not as crisp as you may expect from a pilsner. Some slight citrusy and floral notes on the tongue, and then a strong herbal feel on the back of the mouth and in the aftertaste. Bittering finish, plus quite persistent bittering aftertaste. A bit of alcohol is perceptible in the mix, not so pleasant, it brings a bit of warming feel that does not fit with the beer's refreshing feel and does not even provide some peculiar flavours

M- Medium bodied, quite light carbonation. Decently smooth, goes down easy, but i felt like something more crisp would have fitted better

O- Pretty much a pumped-up pilsner, decently enjoyable but one wonders if such a thing was really worth. The same flavour, plus more balance and drinkability, could be obtained by brewing a standard, 5%ABV, pilsner. Felt like this was done for sake of brewing something strange

From a 330 ml brown stubby bottle, pours out a cloudy gold hue, creamy ivory white head that settles to a thick cap.

Aroma of Noble hops, with bready malt and crisp metallic grains.

Grainy malt in the flavour, some bready sweetness, with a dominating character of leafy, grassy hops--yet balance and cohesion seems off.

Mouthfeel is medium-bodied, creamy smooth, with moderate carbonation.

Doesn't seem to pull everything together in the end, although the key elements are to be found in the flavour, they just don't play well with one another. More carbonation, or a crisper character would have helped too.

330ml stubby bottle, the label deems this an "Organic Pilsener Wine". Not exactly the current version of a hipster also depicted.

This beer pours a cloudy, medium golden straw hue, with one finger of loose and foamy off-white head, which settles rather quickly, leaving some very sparse streaked lace around the glass.

It smells of grainy, semi-sweet pale malt, sharp citrus rind, some pummeled floral hop notes, and a simmering metallic booziness. The taste is more of the same - a soft, sturdy graininess, a slight crusty breadiness, some indistinct, but pleasant enough tart citrus fruitiness, and a lurking, prodding alcoholic edge.

The bubbles are pretty average, in a good way, the body a timid, but agreeable enough medium weight, and warmly smooth. It finishes clean, grainy, and toasty - in more than one way.

It's a bit difficult to classify this one - the tendency to go BSPA was initially strong, until, well, until I tasted it. A deftly boozed-up version of a decent Euro-Pils, in the end, IMHO.
