Saw a sign proclaiming “craft beer “while walking down an alley in Siem Reap, Cambodia. Gotta see what that’s about,of course. Out came this bottle. Poured it into a frosty mug and , damn - it’s pretty good. Looks a murky orange gold color with thick white head. Nose is mild citrus, grass and pine. Taste follows and is mild and fairly balanced. A refreshing surprise on a warm summer night in Kampuchea.

330ml bottle poured into a stemmed glass.

Clear bright gold in color with thick creamy white head that well retains with good retention before slowly collapsing to an everlasting foamy layer atop and leaving some lacing patch and spot on the glass-side.

In a nose, it is much pronounced with pine, pepper, and resin. Fruity notes too of tropical, citrus, pomelo, lime, and passion fruit. Some grass as well while malt provides its mildly sweet bread to blend in.

The taste is hoppy and balance. Fruity hop takes over the palate first with its tropical, citrus, pomelo, lime, and passion fruit as well as some peppery spice, grass, and obvious dankness yet piney resin. Malt is being a good support with some breadiness while hop continues to dominate until the moderate bitter end.

Medium body with quite smooth mouthfeel and mild carbonation, the feeling is rather crisp and refreshing with a typical dry finish. Would be better if there is more crispness and liveliness from carbonation.

This is it. The quality itself is already far beyond the homebrew boundary. It has nice fruity characters with lots of dank piney resin to please the hop heads.
