A dark cola-ruby with a metallic sour nose. The beer itself is quite nice. Malty caramel with a bit of toasty bitterness. Clean finish. Nice!

One of only 3 or 4 beers I found in SE Asia that wasn't a light pale lager/pilsener style.
From notes:
A - light brown, short head, fair retention
N - mild, some chocolate and nut, "hint of Nutella"
T -nutty w/ light chocolate w/ residual sweetness, seems correct for the style
M - wonderfully smooth, exactly what I've learned to want from a Vienna lager
flavorful & delicious after nothing but pale lagers for few weeks. drinkability was right on as I understand the Vienna Lager style, I was very impressed with the two beers I had from Kingdom Breweries in Cambodia

Bottle from a store in Phnom Penh. From notes.
A - Poured deep amber with one finger of light brown head that faded fast. No lace or retention.
S - Nutty with toffee and caramel. Dark malts and dark fruits. Dark fruit comes out more and more as you go on. Subtle but good.
T - Dark fruit, dark malts and a bit of toffee. Cola as well. Less interesting than the aroma. Quite sweet. Girlfriend said it tasted like malt you eat at a brewery. A bit cloying the further you go.
M - Mild carbonation, good medium body, nutty and sweet in the finish with a bit of cloy.
O/D - A decent enough dark lager. Lacking some depth but you can't fault it much. For a Cambodian dark lager it pushes flavour boundaries, for something of the style it doesn't do much. Nice and drinkable if a bit too sweet.
