Carbonated keg at The Beerhouse.
Cloudy straw. Thin dense frothy head.
Grain and yeast on the nose.
Light spice, malt and cereal flavour. Floral notes. Light bitterness.
A welcome beer on a warm day whilst on holiday in Funchal.

This beer is the only one produced on the island besides the massive Coral range of beers, so it is worth seeking out if visit Funchal. The Beerhouse is easy to find, on one of the marina arms. The beer itself is very good, made in accordance to the 1516 Reinheitsgebot laws. It is really a specialty grain style (BA has no listing) The place itself is very German and the setting is great, especially on a warm spring day.
