Visiting the in laws in the small town of Deming, I requested a stop at the only Brewery in town. The atmosphere is nice, it is situated on a corner in the middle of town and parking is readily accessible on the street and across the street in a lot. The building is very old and had a historic plate on the outside. The inside is a mix of random old posters, brewery schwag and dollar bills that have been written on. The overall quality of the food was good. I got the hangover burger which featured an egg cooked with a perfectly runny yolk and jalapeno bacon which had a good balance of spicy, savory and crunchy. I also sampled the sweet potato fries and fried okra both of which we very solid. We ate a late lunch on Sunday and there were only two other customers in the place so the service was more than adequate from the brewer/bartender/waiter/owner Brian. The selection of food and beer was a bit slim. They had 8 taps of house brews (3 lagers, 2 stouts, 2 wits and one pumpkin) and I didn't see any info about bottles or guest taps. They also had three home made sodas however the fridge that held the sodas had frozen them so they were not available to sample. Of the three beers I sampled two were very good and one was a bit off. The food selection was similarly thin, a handful of sandwiches and a couple of burgers and some sides. My vegetarian wife had to cobble together a meal from sides so at least one vegetarian option would be nice. The price was right, everything was extremely affordable.

Overall it was a nice little spot and we will definitely stop in again next time we are in town, however it is not worth going out of your way to experience, and trust me, Deming is out of your way.
