Going back to our recipes developed in the shadow of the Western NM monolith, this is nothing like your standard American Amber; no American hops to be found in this gem. Lots of earthy, spicy Kent Golding and premium English Crystal malts make this beer unique in a sea of ubiquity.

Had on tap. Clear amber body with two fingers of tan foam. Very sweet amber malt, maybe crystal malt given the sweetness, with herbal hops in both smell and taste. No complexity, and kind of cloys a bit right before the hop finish kicks in. Feel is malty, thin, light, but has a bitter finish. Limited depth, even for this simpler style. Meh
