Served in a pilsner glass at the brewery.
Arrives with a huge, pillow-like, frothy white head that settles into a plateau about two fingers thick. Sticky lace forms a maze along the glass's sides. The body is a perfectly transparent golden blonde color with trickling carbonation. 4.5
Sweet and lightly fruity aromas reach the nose, but faintly. It's grainy and cracker-like, but mostly I struggle to discern an aroma through the huge grain smell in the brewery. Womp womp. 3.75
The taste seems somewhat soapy and heavy on a resinous, but floral hop. There's subtle fruit flavor, that comes and goes rather quickly. Sweet malt is present throughout before a mineral finish. 3.25
Medium-bodied and alternately sweet and bitter before a semi-dry finish. It starts to feel more burly as I drink it and in no way does it have the refreshing qualities of a pils. 3.5
This beer's okay. I feel maybe I'm being generous with my score as I don't feel I could say I enjoyed the brew. It was decent, I'll leave it at that.
