Pours black with a khaki head. Aroma is dry and roasty, giving off some some bakers chocolate and coffee grounds to go with a little underlying caramel . Absolutely no sweetness to it. Flavor follows suit. A creamy medium bodied mouthfeel. Overall, great stuff.

Served in a snifter-style of glass at the brewery.
Beautiful looking brew. Chewy and thick mocha-colored head a finger and a half thick and lingers before leaving a wall of lace. Pitch-black body looks evilly delicious.
Chocolatey malt and slight vanilla and caramel. A tad subtle but otherwise nice.
Tastes of a medley of caramel, vanilla, chocolate and something like a cordial because of a slight boozy taste. Repeated sips and I'm swearing to myself there's an oaken, barrel-aged character here, and I'm not sure what to chalk that up to. As it warms a coffee-like flavor begins to linger on the finish.
As I mentioned, there's a slight booziness to this brew but it doesn't seem out of place. It's pretty rich, viscous and creamy, but the finish is surprisingly bitter. Carbonation appears close to the finish in a bubbly rush.
I enjoy this but I wanna age it. Wish it was bottled.
