Golden orange in color. Slightly hazy. Light, crisp and refreshing. Lower flavors. Slightly bitter. Earthy. Subtle. It's ok. Well made cream ale, but still only a cream ale.

Overall seems bland to me. Maybe just a step up from a high life. Not bad. The look is that of a golden hue, similar to that of a Coors gold. Smells decent.

Attractive appearance with a yellow color and abundant foam in the glass. But appearances are deceiving, like the magnetic blonde with the mental health problems. There is something woody and dank and maybe metallic about this. If only this was a sprightly cheap lager with a hint of hops it would be a pleasure.
Awful aftertaste of something mineral with dusty bitterish spices. I find this really unpleasant even among the Category of the Damned. My least favorite beer from La Cumbre. Every brewery needs a light beer for gulping from cans but this isn't the one. From the 16 oz can purchased at Susan's Fine Wine & Spirits in Santa Fe.

Pours a golden color, light white head dissipates quickly, some light lacing. Nice dank smell. Light dankness on the taste. Crisp medium carbonation. Solid brew from these folks

Clear bright yellow gold. Pours a thin head with minimal lacing. Light malty smell. Mild cream ale taste with some dank hops that does not balance. Medium carbonation.

Pours a light gold with a creamy white head; not bad looking but actually looks a bit like cream soda.
Nose is simple and not particularly inviting; one dimensional "sweet corn" with light yeast. Not bad but nothing of note. Mouth feel is light/medium with no particular character or finesse.
Flavor profile follows nose. Very simple and one dimensional. Tastes like a basic lager truth be known, not a lot of ale character whatsoever. Finish is simple light bitter with hints of yeast. This one in all respects is pretty all around average, unlike most of the La Cumbre stuff which I generally really like.

L - when I think cream ale, I think cream soda, this looks like cream soda
S - doesn't smell very creamy, more like a pilsner, kinda stale
T - Tastes like a pilsner, very faint creamy/vanilla notes
F - no creamy coat throat as expected. this is light and crisp
O - Would choose this over most 'lights' at a backyard barbecue

16 ounce can poured into a nonic imperial pint glass.
A- Glowing golden liquid with pristine clarity and a sudsy finger of head. Shows a wall of lacing as the head recedes. 4.75
S- The aroma is quite potent and I can smell sweet, pungent malt from a distance even. Smells of corn and light floral hops. I've never liked the smell of cream ales and this is in the same category, but it's true to the style. 3.5
T- Creamy sweet malt and a gentle vanilla flavor. Corn-like sweetness and flavor on the finish. A bit of floral flavor is apparent on the finish too. 3.75
M- Very smooth and creamy with a pleasant, easy-drinking body. Only the slightest of bitterness and a bit of sticky pungency that I find in every cream ale. Overall, this drinks incredibly well. 4
Good stuff.

So far, my least favorite beer by Cumbre... and that's saying a lot since I like everything else that I've tasted by them. This one, if you like cream ale, you may like. Just not my style. Does keep its carbonation well through the pint, however, like most of their brews. So kudos on that.
