Chill haze to clear gold with a classic white head settling to a persistent blanket with a curled, fine doily ridge.

Sweetly bready up front and mildly toasty in the middle, the tingly semi-dry finish brings up herbal and pleasantly bitter grasses in the exhale.

Picked up a single from TW Arrowhead on 5-31-18 for $3.49. Canned on 3-22-18; best by 6-20-18. Received at TW on 4-4-18 and reviewed 7-23-18. Cold stored since purchase...we'll see how this goes.

Beer poured pale golden with a decent white head with the initial pour.

Nose is sweet malts, very grainy.

Taste follows the nose, very malty/grainy flavor profile, somewhat sweet. Noble hops kick in the end to provide a light bitterness. and provides a decent balance for the sweetness.

Mouthfeel is light and refreshing.

Overall the beer held up well beyond the best by date and is a solid representation of the style. This is very enjoyable on a 114 degree day in Phoenix!

A: Cloudy gold with decent carbonation, moderate head and no lacing.
N: Very faint grains and mild malt.
T: Slightly bitter grain feel, semi-sweet malt, and light dryness.
M: Light
O: Beer seems off, flavors are very light and a after taste on this one. Maybe a bum can, about 8 weeks old.

Pale, yellowish white body; thick, sudsy, white head; plenty of lively carbonation; thick rings of lacing sticking to the glass. Herbal aroma; a bit grassy. Light, bready malt base with a delicate yet proportional hop bitterness. Light body; crisp and clean; a bit of mineral presence.

This beer drinks very easily, presenting a soft, delicate palate of mild herbal and low-key light cereal grain flavors to the palate.

Light lager. Inoffensive but nothing special. Heavier body than a macro, but lighter carbonation. Good food beer. 75/100.

I had 2 large pints at the brewery, then took home a 4 pack to share with friends. Very clean, tasty Helles lager, just enough hops to give interest. This will be a great go to warm weather beer. And it comes in the most beautiful beer can design yet.
Bravo, La Cumbre! Helles yeah!
