I've bought this one a few times. Poured into a pint glass it is light orange and hazy as advertised. I can see the bottom of the glass but not my fingers on the other side. Thin head but I didn't really go for one on the pour. Has a funky-orange-citrus flavor with the hops really coming through; smells really fresh. More malt in the flavor but also sweet citrus, low bitterness, and barely taste any alcohol, though I do get some. Mouthfeel is pretty much right in the middle. Overall a really nice hazy from LC.

Picked up a single from the Craft Beer Hop Stop cooler 1-9-20 for $3.49. Canned on 12-30-19; best by 3-29-20; consumed 4-6-20 but cold stored since purchase.

Beer poured a hazed golden orange with a nice white head with the original pour.

Nose is nice, of oranges and tropical fruit.

Taste is a light but substantial malt base that takes on orange, tangerine, and coconut i think. Finishes with a pine resin that is moderately bitter; 6/10 on my scale.

Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied and refreshing.

Overall a different twist with the coconut. Another good beer from La Cumbre as always but probably not one i like well enough to purchase again given an IPA environment that is crazy good these days.

Hazy orange color. Small white head that disappears quickly. A fair amount of lace.
Citrus aroma, some pine.
Grapefruit and orange, pithy. Late pine.
Medium-bodied, pleasant beer to drink.

L - plays the murky part, not chunky, but not see through; good hop oils pool on top, little head, but good lacing.
S - grapefruit-orange parts and pith fight it out in the glass, some dankness/bud on the side-nose.
T - more of the aroma, citrus fuck-fest, with week lurking and some pine. Interesting hop blend here.
F - great carbonation, stays lively, good palate impression, but drops off that citrus cliff pretty quickly.
O - a really good hazy, but I think for this ABV (7.2) I still lean towards Sun Fade.

16 oz can, canned on 12/19/19, best by 3/18/20. Pours very turbid dark yellow with a thin white head that quickly goes to a thin collar that leaves little lacing.

The aroma is sweet juicy citrus fruit and wheat malt.

The flavor is sweet fruit on a bready wheat malt base with some resiny hops and a good amount of balancing bitterness in the finish. The mouthfeel is a bit thin and watery.

Overall, a nice NE IPA.

16 oz. Can
CO: 12/19/19

Less than 10 days on this can, Awesome!

Poured into a Trillium glass a very nice cloudy pale yellow color, very nice carbonation, with a very nice thick/creamy one-finger plus off-white head, which also leaves some pretty nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, mango, pineapple, apricot, coconut, peach), pretty nice diesel like. The taste is very nice, hoppy, malty, with a very nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, mango, pineapple, apricot, peach, coconut), nice little sweetness, very nice diesel like. Medium body, ABV is hidden pretty nicely, with a nice dry/bitter finish. Overall, a very tasty brew, true to style. Orange Julius! Addictive! MilkShake! Nice to see it around here. Can't believe I'm the first to review this beer.
