Brewed with our friends up north at Crooked Stave. This west coast IPA hits big up front with aromatics of cantaloupe and dank citrus paired with a crisp body and resinous finish.

L - crystalline, bubbly, CO2 for days, nice lacing, great foam head action. Maybe its best characteristic.
S - melon, canteloupe, some cut grass, dankness.... not too overpowering, maybe too subtle.
T - Hope profile on this one is interesting, a little "melon-y" for me, not as many sharp citrus notes, but smooth and grassy. Really interesting for this collab.
F - Boy the CO2 profile/carb, the lightness in step, the balance here and some of the melon notes remind me of a TRVE beer, and that's not a bad thing!
O - a really nice collaboration WC IPA from two very solid breweries; doesn't necessarily stand out in strong ways, and I wish they provided a bit more info on the can, but hey, about a month old? I'll take it.

Pours clear, light gold color; sparse carbonation; thick, frothy, long-lasting head, white and gently rocky in appearance. Very pleasant scent; light bread crust with notes of soft berries. Clean tasting; low-key biscuit delivering dense yet readily approachable hop bitterness; pine resin; hint of cantaloupe. Medium bodied; crisp; light, prickly snap on the palate; semi-dry.
This fantastic west coast-styled India pale ale exudes balance and subtle flavors. This one could easily give Russian River's 'Blind Pig' a run for it's money.
ABV: 6.8%; pouring temperature: 43.3 °F; canning info: CO 11/11/24 BB 02/09/25
Source: local purchase (Cheers! Liquor Mart)

Poured into a Trillium glass a pretty nice slightly hazy dark yellow color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger plus off-white head, which also leaves some pretty nice thick/creamy sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, pineapple, grapefruit, guava), pretty nice pineyness. The taste is very nice, hoppy, malty, with a very nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, pineapple, grapefruit, guava), very nice pine note. Medium body, ABV hidden very nicely, with a pretty nice dry/bitter finish. Overall, this is a very tasty beer.
