West Coast-style Pilsner brewed with our pals @cannonballcreekbrewingco. Crisp, clean, and built for peak dad mode - lawn chairs, grill smoke, tongs in one hand, cold crispy Pils in the other.

5.2% ABV and hopped with Hallertau Mittelfrüh, Lorien, Citra, Krush & Nectaron. It’s bright, dry, and packed with citrus, light melon, and fresh grassy notes. Dad tested and approved.

Poured into a Tree House glass a pretty nice clean/clear golden pale yellow color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger plus white head, which also leaves a pretty nice medium size island, and some pretty nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is pretty nice malty, hoppy, slight yeast note, lemony/grassy. The taste is very nice malty, hoppy, kinda yeasty, lemony/grassy. Medium body. Overall, this is a very tasty beer.

Pale straw color; dense, lively carbonation; thick and frothy head, white with good retention. Somewhat grassy aroma; some oddball fruity esters. Light and delicate malt base carrying a fairly bold hop bitterness. Light to medium-light body; crisp with a soft overall dryness.

I don't know about this beer. I get that the style is supposed to help accentuate the hops, but to me, the hops comes across rather brash with a bit of metallic aftertaste. Plus, I don't pickup anything really suggesting citrus and tropical fruits in the smell or taste. Grassy elements, sure, but not much else. Drinkable but not very memorable.
