Pale gold and clear; dense and vibrant small-bubble carbonation gently rising thick, white head, densely sudsy and long-lasting. Fine aroma; light malt base with a mildly fragrant hop nose; light bread crust; faint citrus and delicate floral notes. Clean taste; discrete and subtle light malt baseline; bolder hop bitterness yet complementary to the malt; low-key citrus and honeydew melon hop flavor with a slightly peppery edge. Medium bodied; crisp with a smidge of juiciness.
This experimental India pale ale is a wonderful foray into what a west coast style IPA can be. The brewers did a magnificent job with balancing all the ingredients and generating a wonderfully complex beer. Easy drinking and very, very satisfying.
ABV: 7.5%; pouring temperature: 52.5 ℉; canning info: CO 03/05/26 BB 06/03/26 #3902

Purchased a single 16 ounce can at the Side Door in Sunland Park, New Mexico. Clear brass-golden colored nicely carbonated beer with a good head on it's shoulders. Hops, hops, hops in the aroma, taste and after taste, just what I was looking for today. I wish I had purchased a lot more of these but then again I'm glad I didn't.
