I concur with most of what's been written on this beer already. I'd add that there has, over the last 5-7 years, been a fairly common change in the taste and smell of this beer. There seems to be two variations, neither of which is necessarily better or worse than the other: one in which a distinct fruitiness comes to the fore in both the smell and taste, a very appealing grapefruit smell and taste. The second is a strong doughy/flour taste to the beer. Personally, I like the grapefruity variation, tho' I'd say you get that one only 20 percent of the time, doughy variation is the more usual one. Like the bitter brewed at the Londoner the Pilsener is a great value.

The Londoner’s pub-brewed German Pilsener served in a pub-branded mug in Bangkok.
A:
The appearance is golden color, slight hazy texture with average white head and retention, medium carbonation, wee lacing.
S:
The smell consists bread, grain, malt and hop.
T:
Upfront by grain, bread and malt then bitterness from hop plays a support role in the middle until finish with dainty touch. Not too hoppy for pils yet not too lack of hop.
M:
The body is medium, very smooth mouthfeel by a touch of silky carbonation through the palate, very dry finish.
O:
Well hopped pils, I paired it together with various Thai's cuisines and they all get along well.

Served up freezing cold, but at least they don't bring an ice bucket. Looks like a big cloudy pineapple with a touch of foam and a consistent color throughout.
It smells crisp and has little hints of peach and pineapple. Hits up front smooth and finishes with a bit of piney hops. The beer is unexpectedly sticky in my mouth. I've had nothing this hoppy for the past 6 months so I am quite pleased.

A very fresh beer brought back in small hand bottles, thanks Karuna! Very yellow but a good yeasty head with lots of lace. Smell is faintly mildly cheesy, and about a medium mouthfeel, no preservatives here. Like a well made Canadian hockey game watching beer. A bit of hops at the end, to bring it up past macro rating.

Creamy, white head of small bubbles with decent head retention. Not bad legs and a tiny bit of lace.
Golden yellow liquid with a slight haze to it. I suspect chill haze as it was served too cold.
Obvious lager smell, but no DMS. Sweet with a German hops smell, maybe slightly earthy.
Light body, smooth, creamy mouthfeel. Moderate carbonation.
Sweet and slightly malty with a mild lingering bitterness that is fairly well balanced. Very little sourness for a lager and no DMS in the taste. Hops taste as expcted from the smell. After 3 weeks of SE Asian domestics, I really enjoyed this.
