Very very dark amber color. Beige foam, not bad.
In the smell, malt, caramel, hints of sugar, leather, and maybe a light liquorice.
The taste is well balanced too, with good malty notes, and dark malts. Hints of liquorice, and again leather notes, and maybe a light tannic hint. Soft and smooth. Good. Maybe just a bit too carbanted.
But, after all, well balanced between malt, tannic notes, woody notes and leather.
In the aftertaste, beside the rest, notes of chocolate, cocoa powder.
Good.

Bottle: Poured a cloudy deep brown color beer with a big foamy head with better then average retention. Aroma of candi sugar and dry plums/figs is really nice. Taste of sweet malt with some nice dry plums/figs characteristics. Body is slightly thin for the style but alcohol is well hidden. Very nice effort from this brewery and part for being a bit too sweet I was well impressed with that one.
