A: Pours a dark copper color. The head soon departs leaving behind some nice lacing.
S: Wonderful smell! Malty and roasty with a side of sweetness to it. I like it.
T: A little bit of chocolate in the flavor and a good amount of malt. That roasted quality comes back after a few swallows.
M: Medium bodied, goes down well.
This is a very good winter beer. I'll be sure to get some again when they bring it back next year.
