Wow, I fell in love with this beer from the time I saw it.
Nice rich dark brown/reddish/amber. Creamy white and frothy head. Good lacing.
Aroma is weak, but then again it's a mild. Subtle roasted malt and just a hint of grassy/earthy hops. Baked caramel comes and goes without sweetness.
Taste is great. Perhaps a little richer would get it to '5'. Mild roasted malt, some soft caramel, toffee and light coffee. This beer won't wow you with intensity, but if you want a good mild ale, this is a fantastic bet. It misses a bit on the "English" side of the style, could use more earthiness or some diacetyl, but I'm not complaining.
