Sampled a crystal clear amber colored beer with a light orange hue throughout. A soft white head with good retention.
The nose is smoked malt forward. More of a meat like undertone with good malty backing leaving some caramel notes lingering. Some minor plastic notes but very clean yeast.
The taste is a bit more complex. The smoke comes out more and even lingers into the finish. But a nice malt backing with more of a caramel/munich malt backing. Some chewiness on the front end as well. Some minor tropical fruit notes but really very clean.
The body is moderate and really smooth for the abv. A very nice lingering camp fire smokey finish. Carbonation is a bit low but I think helps the smoke come out. Overall dang nice rauch beer.
