16 ounce can into a tulip snifter. Canned 6/28/22, had 1/8/23.
Pours a lightly hazy yellow, with a two inch foamy head and some foamy lacing. Aromas of grapefruit, grassy hops, oak, vanilla, light malt, a little bourbon. Flavors of grapefruit, oak, malt, some bourbon- more as it warms, grassy hops, vanilla, a decent amount of hop bitterness. Smooth, a very good lighter body, well carbonated.
Vanilla and oak are prominent. The barrels are light, but effective. Probably should have had this sooner, but it was still pretty good.

From brewery - 16 ounce can - packaged June 28/22 - purchased April 2023. This version is 9.2% ABV.
Pours a slightly hazy bright golden to apricot colour with finger and a half of tight bubbly white head.
Interesting aroma - fruity - peach; floral and oaky with a pretty good note of the bourbon and a touch of earthiness.
Taste immediately hits with a fruity but boozy sweetness - bourbon is evident - again a bit floral and I still get the peach, apricot flavours - some tropical fruit and a touch dank - limited bitterness.
Leans to full side on mouthfeel with active carbonation and boozy warmth; sweeter side of bittersweet finish.
Truly grew on me through the pour.

Gold in color with with some moderate sized sediment suspended within the body. There’s a quarter inch of eggshell white on top. The aroma is of oak and citrus. I’m tasting vanilla, bourbon, and a bit of grassy hops. The mouth is warm with alcohol and dry.

Pours a gold color with a minimal head that lasts quite a while. Aroma of citrus. Taste is hops, tropical fruits and a touch of alcohol. Slight warmth from the alcohol and a hoppy bitterness at the finish.

16oz can from Tavour. Golden pour, light cloudiness, small foamy white head. Aroma is overripe melon, tropical and citrus fruit, floral notes. Taste adds some earthy hops, light dank aspects, tropical fruit. Sweet and then bitter. Quite a kick too.

Really well balanced combination of style, flavor, hops, barrel aging and ABV, pulled of by a small Belgian influenced brewery in a small beer crazy city.....Loved it.

A: Bright yellow in color, absolutely crystal clear in color with a white head that dissipates fairly quickly.
S: Bug vanilla and oak in the nose with tropical hop aroma, and stone fruit.
T: Big vanilla and oak flavor, followed by sweet tropical fruit, and stone fruit, the finish is a touch of resin, with a hint of booze and lingering bourbon in the finish with a slight Belgian kick.
M: Medium in mouthfeel, with effervescent carbonation, and a bit of a syrup finish.
O: Lovely. A really interesting brew, and my first from this brewery. Sometimes a big hoppy brew can fight the barrel flavor, but this one seems to meld well.
