No date on the can (however, it seems to me that the BV special release cans are sort of a new thing). Beer-colored. Light/medium amber with yellow hues in the light and a thin ring of white bubbles. Spicy/floral hop note with a noticeable punch of rye. Good flavor. Most of this beer stands on the rye/malt backbone, some bitterness on the back end mixes in well with the mild spiciness. Hint of a vegetal note (celery/cucumber-like) carries over from the nose. Quite refreshing with the rye hanging on after the sip. A unique offering. Not the usual fare. Thanks to Jens4212 for bringing around these great BV brews to continue training our palates.

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
