Purchase four-pack of 16 ozers at brewery – price unknown as given no itemized receipt
Undated can at 36 degrees (hotel reefer temp) into hand washed and dried Brewery Vivant snifter, allowed to warm to 50 degrees
Aroma of chocolate, rapidly fades
Head large (4.5 cm, aggressive pour), medium brown, creamy with rocks, diminishing to three mm ring and partial monolayer of tiny bubbles
Lacing - none
Body dark brown/black, opaque
Flavor starts slightly sweet with a little malt. Ends with a not unpleasant chemical flavor. No hops, no alcohol, no diacetyl. Very little like a stout, more of a brown ale.
Palate medium, watery, soft carbonation
Appearance 3.75, Aroma 3.75, Flavor 3.5, Palate 3.5, Overall 3.5

Though it is not advertised as such, it is way too sour for my taste.
