Outstanding porter from a great local brewery. Pours a nice deep, dark, rich black color that's very opaque and had some nice tan-colored fluffy head and rings of spotty lingering lacing that lasted a while. Smells deeply of dark chocolate, medium roast coffee, toffee, caramel, vanilla, malt and just a little roasted nuttiness. Taste follows the nose, and along with all those flavors is a richness, depth and complexity that just blended so well together. Smooth, rich, slightly sticky and chewy mouthfeel that gently coats the palate. Good amount of carbonation, just enough. All in all, an excellent porter and one of my favorite beers from this great local brewery.
