Very nice, refreshing, well-balanced hoppy IPA from a great local brewery. Pours a very nice, amber-golden color with a little haze and some great looking fluffy white head and small rings of lingering lacing. Smells of some wheat, malt, light fruity hops, herbal hops, biscuit and some caramel. Taste follows the nose, and that grapefruit/orange/lemon zest hoppiness is well-balanced with the sweeter malt and yeast notes. Just a trace amount of dankness in the finish. Light, mild, smooth mouthfeel, just slightly sticky. Good carbonation. A very enjoyable beer.
