Pours clear gold. Smells malty with slight yeast/honey hints. Taste of hops, yeast and slight bitters. Medium bodied fill. I like it.

A: A murky brown color with a light tan head.
S: Caramel and malt aromas, with a slight orange zest smell.
T: A touch of orange, and a lot of character. A touch of champagne in the finish, I wish there was a little bit more of a Belgian character.
M: Medium body with moderate high carbonation.
O: Overall not, bad, but I wish there was a little more Belgian character.

On-tap poured into a Becher glass.
Described as a historical, buckwheat ale.
A- Rich, hazy, amber body with medium-light carbonation. Scant head leaves decent rings.
S- Malty and sweet. Mostly honey-like and floral hop notes. Hints of yeasty, Belgian funk.
T- As aroma suggests. Malty backbone is grainy/Brady and sweet. Somewhere between honey and brown sugar. Hopping is a little herbal. Something of tea and honey?
M- Moderate carbonation. Full-bodied.
O- Good beer. Really easy drinker. Almost a Belgian amber ale. Had two in a sitting. Would have had another.
