On tap at the brewery, into a tulip.
Golden amber, light lacing with mild retention and lace. Funky nose, with a bit of citrus and yeast. Touch of oak as well, but the Belgian IPA has really be lost here. Tart and citrusy on the palate, citrus rind, grains with a mild oak sweetness - again, Belgian IPA characteristics don't really pop out. Light herbal bitterness. Medium mouthfeel, lingering tartness. Interesting, but not something I was particularly crazy about.
