Dark black color with a huge tan head.
I tried this again on tap at cask and vine tonight as part of a blind tasting and frankly this was the only beer I didn't enjoy. Its a bit thin on body, heavy on the coffee aroma and flavor with no sweetness to back it up. The barrel treatment was impossible to find and the mouthfeel was ashy. This beer needs some work.
