Maple-Kissed Wheat Porter is a medium-bodied porter that tastes amazingly smooth and velvety. The rich and creamy mouthfeel is a result of the wheat used in the brewing process. Local maple syrup gives this beer just a hint of palate-pleasing sweetness as well as a nice depth of flavor.
We call this beer “maple-kissed” because we use just the right balance of maple syrup to impart a delicious flavor without the beer becoming sweet.

Sampling a cellar temp 16 oz can poured into my snifter. Picked up the can on a recent trip to New Hampshire and the canning date is 3/16/2021. Should be fine.
The beer pours a rich cola brown color with large fluffy beige head that almost overflows my glass and it takes a very gentle pour to get the can to empty on one pour. The foam settles as a sturdy surface layer that sticks around through the sampling.
The aroma is some roasted malt a little charred wood and some light coffee notes. I do get a little bit of maple note on the nose, but its pretty mild.
First sip reveals a medium body with fine tingly carbonation. Texture is smooth and the beer drinks very easy.
Flavor is mild overall and similar to the nose. I get some roasted malt notes, a bit of burnt note, some mild coffee, and faintest hits of maple on the finish. No hint of the ABV and hops not really present on the flavor profile.
Beer is easy to drink, but a little of a disappointment. was hoping for a little bigger flavor note all around, not flawed, just not exciting.

Dark brown, nearly black. No light shines through. Small head, particularly for a "wheat" beer. Oddly, little lace that lasts.
The aroma is dark and chocolatey (semisweet). Fairly straight forward porter smells--mostly the aforementioned chocolate and a touch of coffee (not quite mocha).
Relatively thin body and taste. Lots of carbonation. In the swallow, I get some sourness and no wheat. There's a burnt bread finish with a solid bitter hop spice. I don't get any of the maple syrup flavor (it's dry but still no distinctive maple characteristics). Short aftertaste of nearly burnt toast and straight up bitter hop.

Way too sweet....not a drinkable Porter. Next to no hoppiness. Yuk
