64oz growler generously shared by my sister at Thanksgiving dinner. Poured into a Smuttynose tulip.
A - Pours a well hazed, pinkish orange color...looks almost exactly like grapefruit juice. Low head of white bubbles that fizzles quickly leaving behind sparse and spotty lacing..
S - Tart, cranberry fruitiness, yeasty, oranges and just a touch of butter (diacetyl?)
T - Good witbier base...coriander, wheat, yeasty. Delicate cranberry fruit addition...fruity and lightly tart.
M - Thinnish body, crisp medium carbonation. Smooth and unobtrusive fruit...just enough there to be noticeable and a pleasant addition without overpowering everything.
O - Decent witibier, crisp and refreshing with some delicate flavoring. Wish there was a bit more intensity to the flavoring...what was there was good, but left me wanting a bit more.
