Oma’s Tribute is a light, crisp Schwarzbier that has a rich, dark brown color with beautiful red undertones. This beer is supremely smooth and easy to drink, with a slight roasty taste and very little hop bitterness. For you lighter beer fans, don’t let this beer’s dark color fool you! Oma’s Tribute is very crisp and clean, with a light mouthfeel.

Nearly opaque and deep chestnut brown in color with a thin head of loose beige bubbles. Yes, it's dark, but a ray or two of light might be able to sneak through. Slightly sweet, with aromas of pumpernickel bread, wet earth and the faintest touch of smoke. Definitely a malty beer first and foremost. Smooth and clean as you would expect from a German-style lager, Oma's Tribute is full of roasty flavor and just enough bitterness to save it from tumbling into a syrupy abyss. The mouthfeel places it more in medium-body territory than many other Schwarzbiers, but the semi-dry finish makes it no less satisfying to drink.

On tap at the community oven Hampton.
Pours a solid black color without much of a head. Roasted, earthy, and chocolate aroma and flavor. Medium full body with a silky mouthfeel and a moderate level of carbonation. Nice clean flavorful lager although served a bit too cold and also a bit pricey.

Poured on-tap and served in a tumbler pint, the beer is a dark brown, almost black coloring with a filmy, sparse head. Aromas are roasty, with some light coffee influences. Flavors are roasty as well, with some smokey highlights atop the roasted grain backbones. Clean and smooth, with a slight smokey aftertaste. The finish is smooth and clean, and this is an extremely easy drinker.
