Our Rhubarb Wit is a traditional Belgian White (or Wit) made with belgian ale yeast, orange peal, oats from Maine, wheat from Rollinsford, New Hampshire, and chamomile from Rye, NH. We then used 75lbs of New Hampshire rhubarb. The result is a really drinkable, summery beer with a very pleasant, citrusy / lemon flavors that come through at the end.

Unfortunately I only jotted down a few notes on my phone. I was planning on grabbing a growler but the keg was kicked and pulled away as I made my way to the counter. Bummer! Sample pour into a small glass.

A - Hazy amber body, small one finger white head fizzles away quickly.

S - Lemons, light spices, and an amazing rhubarb aroma. Very fruity, fresh, and slightly sour smelling.

T - Light coriander spice and bready yeast that is followed by some lemon and bright fruit notes. The finish is zesty and lightly sour. Delicious rhubarb aftertaste. Medium bodied with some spritzy carbonation.

O - My friend and I visited this brewery simply because it was on the way to Portsmouth. This beer was the highlight of my trip in the area. So refreshing, crisp, and tasty...if it was bottled it would be my go to summer beer.
