A - Pours a lovely black , almost dirty engine oil colour with terrific three fingered tanned head that retains well
S - Strong roasted malts, coffee, chocolate, slightly boozy, molassses with a hint of vanilla
T - Burnt wood, slight dark chocolate, molasses, bourbon is noticeable but not too overpowering, slightly boozy dry finish
M - Medium bodied with medium carbonation
O - Not bad but not alot going on here. A little dry and boozy on the finish and lacks the fullness of a good stout

On pour its very impressive looking with a thick four finger head and a very black hue, the smell is fresh oak, a touch of smoke, abbey yeast and burnt bacon, the mouthfeel is only medium bodied with above moderate carbonation and the tastes are milky chocolate, a touch of smoke, bourbon, bready malts and finished with a bitter hop finish and overall its ok and not as good as previous ones cheers.
