A nice place for lunch if you find yourself in the area, combined with the great taste of New England craft beer in the sweltering jungles of central Florida.
-Competent and knowledgable wait staff.
-Very good food! (it seemed that many of their sauces and dressings are made in-house)
-10-15 beers to choose from, not just limited to shipyard brews. (on this particular occasion they had sea dog, and cigar city as well).
-Very nice gift shop + artisan bakery
Best part overall: Cask Aged XXXX Pugsley Imperial IPA... 9% & 70ibus and as mellow as could be! YUM!

Stopped in here recently while passing through Orlando. I am not a big fan of Shipyard, but through it would be worth a try. I am happy to say that I was pleasantly surprised. The beer is all Shipyard, with a few guest beers and a weekly rotating tap of beer brewed on site. I was interested in the on site beer, but that week it was a sweet fruit beer that just didn't sound appealing. Fortunately, they had Sea Dog IPA on cask, which was at least a new experience, and it turned out to actually be quite good when served at a real ale. The real surprise, however, was the food. They had a nice assortment of options, including bread baked on site, and house made charcuterie (which you don't see too often and I certainly didn't expect here). I had a flat bread pizza, topped with prosciutto and capicola which was really good. In summary, I would stop in here again for the food by itself and I certainly wouldn't mind having a beer or two while I ate.
