Stopped here on the way to Charlotte with my three boys. I had a great conversation with the owners. They allowed my boys to sample soda while I sampled their taps. Their beer was pretty good for a new brewery and their selection was good with five beers on tap. The usual warehouse with a brewery inside and a bar to drink at. The brown ale, oat meal stout, pale ale, and wheat were all good examples. Like most brewers, they were very informative and helpful. I would love to stop by there again. There is a good park close to there to there to hike at.

On my visit to North Carolina over the holidays, I hadn't expected any breweries in small, nearby Aberdeen, but here it was. Set up in a warehouse like one of my preferred breweries here in Colorado, Big Beaver, Railhouse is very open and interesting, with a bar and plenty of seating on their tables nearby. We went in on New Year's Eve, before the evening's celebrations commenced, though the balloons were coming out when we arrived.
The beers were decent and cheap, the bartender friendly and knowledgeable, and overall the place gave off a decent impression. Next time I visit my folks in nearby Pinehurst, I'll be sure to drop by for a pint.

This place is fairly new from the looks of it. Wide open inside, with plenty of bar space and a pool table. Lots of apparel to choose from. They had a private party going on as we were driving through from FL to NH, but the brewer happened to be coming out and assured us we could come in and get some beer. There were currently 4 brews on-tap, and one would assume that will increase as they continue to build a fanbase/businnes. We picked up a growler of the stout, and they had no problem filling our growler from Alaska. Also, they were cool with our dog hanging out with us on the patio, which is a big bonus in my family, if you have read any of my other beerfly reviews. Growler fills were only 10 bucks. No food, but I can't overstate how friendly and helpful everyone there is. Definitely worth a stop if you find yourself traveling through Aberdeen.
