Somewhat murky, honey colored body; thin, wispy head. Malty aroma with a strong tequila component. Heavy, heavy tequila taste; cloyingly sweet; a bit a caramel. Heavy body; sugary and oily.
There is no subtlety with this beer. I believe there was an omen when opening the bottle produced a huge gusher of boozy, sticky foam. After cleanup, the beer's true character gets revealed when going through the rating ritual. Overall, this beer is way too heavy and sweet and bludgeons you with tequila smell and taste. And the mouthfeel is just coats your tongue with oily, sticky, tequila overkill. A beer like this could shine with nuance and subtlety. That is severely lacking here. One would be better off drinking actual tequila with a beer chaser.
