While this beer isn't all that much to look at--dark brown, not much of a head--it sure smells great and tastes darn fine.
The name captures the beer. It's toffee alright. Like a Heath bar that's dark chocolate instead of milk chocolate. It is sweet, but not overly so. Maybe a pint is the most I could drink. But really, it's a great tasting beer. A bit filmy on the feel, but no biggie...it's toffee for crying out loud.
