Appearance - Pours relatively clear and golden in color. Off-white finger width head that displays average retention before dying to a thin, broken layer of suds across the surface. Lacing consists of a few spots and a few streaks along the glass.

Smell - Grains hit the nose first, but are complimented by sweet bread and honey notes and a hint of floral hop character.

Taste - Follows the nose. Bready, grainy malts with light honey sweetness. Hops come across as mildly floral with a punch of spice.

Mouthfeel - Light to medium body with crisp, bitey carbonation. Smooth, semi-dry finish. Super smooth drinking experience.

Overall - Great blonde. Kinda drinks like a beer version of Honey Nut Cheerios. Stupid drinkable.

Poured from a bottle into a Mason jar at a local restaurant. Slightly hazy amber-yellow color, thin head, mild lacing down the glass as you drink it. Aroma is fruity, floral, sweet, malt, mild hops, mild apricots. The flavor is malt, a bit of fruitiness like apricots and a hint of honey, and a moderate floral hops with some bitterness at the finish. Mouthfeel is medium with moderate carbonation. Overall this is a very good to outstanding ale. I'm not sure of the style if what to compare it with, but I really like it. It's got more hops and a bit more carnonation than a pale ale, and more color.

Picked up a 22 ouncer from a local grocery store and poured into my Sam Adams Pint Glass.

Appearance - Pours a golden amber yellow with a white head. Foam dissipates rather quickly, but has decent lacing for the style. The high carbonation sends bubbles dancing up the side of the glass for the entirety of the session.

Smell - Honey, mild pine, and orange blossoms. The smell is very reminiscent of forest foliage. The very mild hops give it an earthy pine-like smell, while the honey and slight citrus balance it out quite well.

Taste - Similar to the smell, honey is the first thing I pick up. It's not overpowering, but it's there. I also get just a bit of the citrus and orange blossom that was in the smell but it's not as pronounced. The slight piney smell from the hops is almost nowhere to be found in the taste. Quite delicious and refreshing.

Mouthfeel - Light and effervescent with a quick finish. The flavor doesn't stick around for long, but it leaves you wanting to take another sip. This is definitely a summertime beer, it's light and refreshing mouthfeel compliments it's slightly sweet and simple, yet well-done, flavor.

Overall - Very nice. This is a great beer to knock back on a hot day, and is probably a perfect introduction for people wanting to get into craft brews. It's not overly complex, but it's flavor is on-point. If you have friends who primarily drink macros and want to expand their palate a bit without giving them something that will turn them off, send a bottle of this their way. I think it will be quite the crowd pleaser.

Pours a clear golden, copperish hue

Smell is borderline pilsneresque and throws me off

Taste is crisp, refreshing. Slightly hoppy on front end, mellowing into sweetness. A nice flavor profile for what is typically not a complex style

Feel is a little thin, but fine for a session/summer/outdoorsy beer.

Overall; solid take on the style. It was just too damn hot for a heavy ipa so i turned to this. No complaints on that account.

Please note this review is for the new Pint cans.

I may be new and I may not be as beer affluent as some. However it know what I like and I think this beer is a breath of fresh air in a CA beer market flooded with double IPA's that are all starting to taste the same. This beer is smooth. It is immediately tasty and thirst quenching. It has a sweet golden aftertaste. I would highly recommend this beer to someone who is new to the micro brew scene of anyone who isn't in the mood for a bitter beer. I'm anxious to get down to this brewery and see how it's made. It's starting to show up in grocery stores in the Central Valley and I'm thankful for that!!
