I wouldn't trust the negative reviews, not that I am a licensed connoisseur. It is a very good, citrus forward IPA. Definitely didn't get any notes of "molasses". Nice color, good bit of citrus smell, citrus up front slightly bitter aftertaste. An IPA that is enjoyable in the Valley's hot summers.

I had this at the Tioga-Sequoia BeerGarden on Saturday afternoon, in Fresno.
It tasted like straight-up molasses. Like it hadn't spent enough time in the fermenter.
Really horrible, couldn't finish it. Too bad because I hope people don't think this is what craft is supposed to taste like.
I gave it a 2 on the very off chance it was me.
