Who doesn't love Yosemite?
It's my favorite place on this planet and anything that reminds me of it, I take in.
With a label like this, that was the case with this easygoing Hazy IPA as I easily reached for it when at the Chukchansi Crossing in Coarsegold, California a few months back.
That was during my latest run to the National Parks out west, and this turned out to be wonderful complement to my time in them. A subtly radiant apricot hue with tons of foam greeted me upon pouring this out. Well-defined rings of lacing stayed behind as the suds were enduring and lovely. Lots of orange, orange blossom, deep papaya, and turbid hops in the solid nose as the taste nicely followed suit. A low bitterness and dankness via vegetables and swamp water gave this nice depth as there was an underlying slickness to everything.
White peach and apricot came into the back as this was nicely complex without being overly strong or heavy-handed. "24125" was stamped on the bottom of the can, as that was probably the day of this year that this was canned. Regardless, this held up well and was a fun offering that went down easy without being quite like its counterparts from these parts. Bring this to Yosemite, any park, or any hike that you go on, and don't forget to thank Tioga-Sequoia later!

Really nice, light hazy. Nose is light fruits and some vegetal backbone. This is an easy drinker and I like it.

Tioga always has a great selection of good local beer. Color is very common to other IPAs, but has a very fruity, tropical-like flavor, not as hoppy as other options. A great beer for a warm summer evening.

***note*** this beer consumed from a 16 oz can on 5/19/25 has a different ABV (6.6%) different hops ( Citra and Azacca) and different lable art than the beer’s profile here on BA. My review follows: Good looking beer; tight white foam, long lasting head, some thick lacing, Deep gold, opaque but no suspended solids. Muted smell. Citrus-dominated (mostly grapefruit) taste. More bitter than most hazy IPAs. Mild carbonation.

Canned 2-27-17 received in trade. Pours a nice hazy golden orange with a frothy off white head. Nose is of overripe tropical fruits and grapefruit pith. Taste of ripe mangos and guava. A nice bitter citrus pith to it followed by some sweet peach and apricot. To tie it all together is a very light sticky sweet malt taste on the back end. Very mellow with a sort of awkward pungent bitterness but not overwhelming. Medium to full bodied. A pretty easy drinking beer if you ask me.

Growler poured into a Tioga Sequoia Brewing Co pint glass
A: Pours super hazy golden orange amber with a frothy off white head that settles to a firm layer and leaves some nice lacing.
S: Sweet tropical fruit, citrus juice and zest, passion fruit, pineapple, orange, lemon, and grapefruit, light caramel malt, and a little biscuity, malt.
T: Big juicy citrus and tropical fruit, passion fruit, pineapple, apricot, lemon, and grapefruit, a hint of pine, light caramel sweetness, and some biscuity malt.
M: Medium body, moderate carbonation, silky smooth.
O: I've been slow to jump on the hazy IPA craze but this one is a winner.
