On tap at Tioga Sequoia Brewing Co
A: Pours dark brown with a frothy tan head that settles to a thin layer and leaves a little spotty lacing.
S: Vanilla and cinnamon up front as expected, a little roasty malt, chocolate, slightly earthy, and some toffee sweetness.
T: Roasty, solid hit of vanilla and warm cinnamon, milk chocolate, earthy and slightly herbal undertones, and a toffee sweetness.
M: On the fuller side of medium body, moderate carbonation.
O: More vanilla than I was expecting, and spicier cinnamon. Good, but not super churro-y. Would work better as a brown.
