Bottle poured into a Tioga Sequoia pint glass

A: Pours orange amber with a frothy light tan head that settles to a nice layer and laces well.

S: Toasty grain, some caramel toffee sweetness, floral notes, a little fruity.

T: Toasty malt, a little coffee, fruity notes, apple, a bit spicy, some caramel sweetness, and a kinda metalic like twang.

M: Medium body, moderate carbonation.

O: Drinkable, but nothing super special about it.

A somewhat local brewery bearing Yosemite tags but made in Fresno. Had to try it for the tribute it pays to my mountain home.

A: Really pretty color. A very clear medium amber with a few visible bubbles making their way to the surface when looking at it through light. True to be an amber lager and a great color for a lager. Very minimal head; maybe a centimeter initially fading to a tiny ring the rest of the way.

S: It smells pretty mild overall but the first thing I noticed was a sweet smell of caramel. This was really enticing and made we anxious to taste it. Some maltiness to it but no discernible hoppiness.

T: I tasted it immediately after pulling it from the fridge. I initially tasted the caramel toffee flavors that I smelled which was nice to have it match the smell. Through the middle to finish the maltiness comes through turning into a slightly bitter hop finish that is nice. The only thing I did not like is the lack of flavor as the beer warmed. It became very mild and slightly bland and watery.

M: Mouthfeel was pretty good. Well carbonated but not over-the-top but maybe more than I would like for this type of beer. With the mild blandness that came later, the carbonation made it seem more like soda water. Overall, I found it to be crisp and refreshing making it perfect for hot summer days.

O: Overall, I really enjoyed this beer, especially when I initially poured and tasted it. It did lose its flavor as I continued to drink it which made it lose some points there but I found this to be interesting, tasty and great for those hot summer days as they turn to fall but nothing too special.

A: Golden orange with a fast fading creamy white cap.

S: Toasted grains with light bready notes. Lightly sweet with a dash of caramel.

T: Slightly sweet grainy malt with a little biscuit. I get a vegetal note. The finish is toasted and lightly bitter.

M: Lower medium body with upper medium carbonation.

Overall: The vegetal note drags this below average.

Pours a clear copper color with a one finger head that quickly recedes to a small island of bubbles in the middle of the glass. Fairly weak aroma of grain, grass and caramel. Grain and caramel hit the tongue followed by the spice of noble hops. A nice grainy, dry finished that's almost overtaken by the hops. The hops seem a bit on the high side of the style, but is appreciated. Very easy drinking and sessionable.

this was actually pretty enjoyable, picked up a six pack outside Yosemite National Forest at a gas station and was expecting it to be more of a west coast sam adams style offering. It had a nice nose on her, with a bit of pine and grassy coming at you. the pour was deep amber and some minimal lacing that didnt hang around too long. Style is Marzen and it was a true marzen with a nice chewy malt and some wheat mixed in there. the finish was much more hoppy than i had inticipated. it had a good tart finish with a hint of grapefuit in the Hop notes.
