The Shermanator is a powerful double IPA with unapologetic intensity. Crafted as a tribute to our beloved General Sherman IPA, this brew showcases a combination of Simcoe, Mosaic, Citra, and Sultana hops. Expect a classic West Coast IPA undertone that gives way to a rush of bright citrus and tropical fruit flavors.

Can poured into a Tioga-Sequoia Brewing Co pint glass
A: Pours crystal clear golden amber with a frothy eggshell white head that settles to a firm layer and laces nicely.
S: Citrus, resinous pine, a bit herbal and grassy, a touch floral, underlying tropical and stone fruit, sturdy biscuity bready malt, and a little caramel sweetness.
T: Resinous slightly spicy pine, a touch herbal, solid hit of citrus, grapefruit, orange, and lemon, tropical and stone fruit, pineapple, passion fruit, apricot, peach, mango, blueberry, and guava, light floral and grassy notes, biscuity bready malt, and a little caramel sweetness.
M: On the fuller side of medium body, moderate carbonation, just a hint of warmth can poke through as your glass empties and it comes up to temp.
O: A worthy big brother to the legendary General Sherman. I think Sultana was the perfect addition to add a little extra something while still staying true to the original. Hopefully this one sticks around, at least as a rotator.

Pours mostly clear and lager orange. Smell is light, subtle tropical woth seem bitterness, and the taste follows. Not bad, but not one I'll look for.

16oz undated can from the brewery.
Pours clear copper with a half-inch head of white. Average retention with minimal lacing. Earthy pine with plump malt in the nose. Medium bodied with a tacky mouthfeel. Fairly malty on the palate with bitter pine following through. Finishes somewhat dry with lingering pine bark and malt.
