500 ml bottle, from Vaaland, Bryne. ABV is 4.2%. Golden colour, moderate white head. Aroma of earthy and fruity hops, hints of yellow plums and stewed fruits, hints of pine, some malts too. Flavour of piney hops, some fruity notes, bitter finish.

Light amber/gold. Thick frothy head (lasting to the end). Effervescent.
Mild citrus and floral hop aroma.
Earthy and floral taste. Grassy with a decent malt backbone allowing balance.
Soft with a light to medium body.
A good showing for the first taste from this brewery.
A reasonable EB from Wales.

Cask. Pours a dark gold. Frothy head. Aroma is mild but very inviting. Soft malt and a floral hoppiness. Flavor is more of the same. Floral and grassy hops. English yeast and a malt that tastes darker than the color. Balanced and old school. Cask me more of this. Flat, warm and yummy. I want to rip back twelve of these. English cask goodness.

Hand-pulled pint on 28 Sep 2013 during a North Shropshire Pub Crawl.
Lovely light coloured bitter, the off-white head stayed for the whole pint, I like that to happen.
No great aroma or taste, just a good blend of flavours: leaning slightly towards semi-sweet maltiness, but the hops give a good account of themselves too, with a fine, dry finish.
Nice beer and a pleasant change to see two Monty's beers in cask form on offer after so many nationals had been seen during our Crawl.
